Acer Aspire One 725Acer have just announced another new 11.6-Inch netbook to their lineup. The new Acer Aspire One 725 builds on the very impressive and best selling Aspire One 722 (read my review here).

While the netbook market has been quiet of late, Acer shows us they haven’t quit the market, and are producing the best netbooks to date.

Much like the latest versions of the 722, the Acer AO725 makes use of AMD’s C-60 CPU paired with the AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics.

Asus Transformer TF300The very latest in the family of Asus Transformer Pad tablets is the TF3000. The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 has just officially gone on sale today and is already shipping out.

The Asus TF300 is the latest version, but it isn’t the most expensive version. It’s a cheaper version of the Eeee Pad Transformer Price.

Although the TF300 is cheaper, not too much has been reduced in the offering. It packs a slightly slower processor, smaller battery (battery life reduced to 8.5 hours from 10 hours on the prime) and no flash for the camera.

Acer Aspire One V5 11.6-inch

Acer Aspire One V5While Acer and most other manufactures are now concentrating on ultrabooks rather than netbooks, the upcoming Acer Aspire One V5 11.6-inch laptop has more in common with a netbook than an ultrabook.

The recently announced Aspire V3 and v5 series models will be coming our way shortly. The V3 series models will be available in 14, 15.6 and 17.3-inch sizes, while the V5 series will be available in 14-inch 15-inch and most importantly to us, an 11.6-inch model.

This 11.6-inch model is thought be be known as the Acer Aspire One V5, rather than the Acer Aspire V5 11.6-inch, linking it to the Aspire One series of netbooks.

Apart from a very nice design and measuring just 22.4mm thick, the 14-inch Sony 14P boast some very impressive gesture control thanks to it’s 1.3-megapixel Exmor HD web camera… more on that later.

The Sony E Series 14P’s 14-inch display has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, and is powered by the Intel Core i3-2350M processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and either Intel HD Graphics 3000 or AMD Radeon HD 7670M graphics with 1GB of VRAM.
