Acer have just announced another new 11.6-Inch netbook to their lineup. The new Acer Aspire One 725 builds on the very impressive and best selling Aspire One 722 (read my review here).

While the netbook market has been quiet of late, Acer shows us they haven’t quit the market, and are producing the best netbooks to date.

Much like the latest versions of the 722, the Acer AO725 makes use of AMD’s C-60 CPU paired with the AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics.

Exciting news for owners of the Sony Tablet S users in the US. Sony have just pushed their release of the latest version of the Google Android 4.0 operating system, which is better know as Ice Cream Sunday to users in the U.S.

Sony made an official post about the update over at their blog, along with a video highlighting some of the more exciting new features, which is embedded below.

Just yesterday we let you know that the Asus Transformer Pad 300 was available and shipping out.

The whole Transformer Pad family have been very popular since their initial release, and now their latest, and more budget friendly model has been very well received and is selling very well.

It’s no surprise that the Galaxy Tab 2 is currently selling like hot cakes, and it’s great to see than in such a short time users have been flooding in with great reviews.

The very latest in the family of Asus Transformer Pad tablets is the TF3000. The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 has just officially gone on sale today and is already shipping out.

The Asus TF300 is the latest version, but it isn’t the most expensive version. It’s a cheaper version of the Eeee Pad Transformer Price.

Although the TF300 is cheaper, not too much has been reduced in the offering. It packs a slightly slower processor, smaller battery (battery life reduced to 8.5 hours from 10 hours on the prime) and no flash for the camera.

If you’re lucky enough to own the very impressive Asus Transformer Price tablet, but also unlucky enough to be experiencing some GPS problems with the unit, you’re in luck.

Asus have very generously come to the rescue by offering up a free “GPS Extension kit” to Transformer Prime owners who are experiencing problems. This kit is basically a USB dongle that you simply plug into the tablet “which may help improve signal reception and optimize the user experience”.

While Acer and most other manufactures are now concentrating on ultrabooks rather than netbooks, the upcoming Acer Aspire One V5 11.6-inch laptop has more in common with a netbook than an ultrabook.

The recently announced Aspire V3 and v5 series models will be coming our way shortly. The V3 series models will be available in 14, 15.6 and 17.3-inch sizes, while the V5 series will be available in 14-inch 15-inch and most importantly to us, an 11.6-inch model.

This 11.6-inch model is thought be be known as the Acer Aspire One V5, rather than the Acer Aspire V5 11.6-inch, linking it to the Aspire One series of netbooks.

The newly announced Sony Vaio E Series 14P, is not only a mouthful to say, it’s also a 14-inch notebook which sits somewhere between a laptop and an ultrabook.

Apart from a very nice design and measuring just 22.4mm thick, the 14-inch Sony 14P boast some very impressive gesture control thanks to it’s 1.3-megapixel Exmor HD web camera… more on that later.

The Sony E Series 14P’s 14-inch display has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, and is powered by the Intel Core i3-2350M processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and either Intel HD Graphics 3000 or AMD Radeon HD 7670M graphics with 1GB of VRAM.

Asus have always been one to innovate the tablet market, most noticeably with the Asus Transformer series of tablet computers turn laptops via their docking keyboard unit.

They have now taken the idea of two devices in one even futher with the new Asus PadFone. The PadFone is essentially three devices in one. First off you have the phone itself, which is a 4.3-inch smartphone running Google Android Ice Cream Sunday.

It features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED 256ppi touch screen, and has a powerful 8-megapixel camera which features a high quality five element lens.

But that’s all fairly standard, so what makes the PadFone different from any other phone (Fone). Well, the Pad in the name is a give away.
