Acer have now taken the popular 1810T and made it into the Acer 1820P convertible multitouch tablet netbook, also known as a “netvertible”.
The 11.6-inch Acer Aspire Timeline 1820P (to use it’s full name), has the same internal specifications as the popular 1810, along with the same external design and port layout, but adds a pivoting / rotating multitouch screen. The LCD has the same resolution, but adds 300g in weight, we assume this is from the pivoting joint and extra strength requited to make it a converting tablet PC.
If you can’t remember the specifications form the other model, the Acer 1820P features an 11.6-inch LCD, 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.
It will ship with Windows 7 only. No word on price or shipping dates just yet, but we will keep you updated. Via Macles
