The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T has finally broken cover and has been officially announced by Acer. We have known of the Acer 1830T for sometime now, having seen it pass through the FCC and more.
The thin-and-light Acer Aspire 1830T looks great, and features an 11.6-inch LCD with a 1366 x 768 resolution (720p HD), measures less than one inch thick and weighs just 3lbs.

The official Acer site (which is appeared on briefly) lists an unspecific Intel Core 2 Solo processor, but we have seen reports that it features the Intel Core i5 520UM CPU, which ranges from 1GHz to 1.8GHz.
Along with a 6-cell battery, this battery and CPU combination will provide eight hours of runtime.
The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T comes well packed with ports offering HDMI output, 3x USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and S/PDIF audio. The Acer 1830T builds on the popular Acer Aspire 1410, but offers an improved, slimmer design with increased performance and a few other changes.
