It looks like a little more information on the upcoming Acer Iconica Tab A700 is coming our way very soon. According to a Russian website Acer are going to bring the Acer Tab A700 with them to this years CES and officially announce it to the world.
We have heard about the Acer A700 for a while now, but this is the first time we have gotten some real specifications on the A700, along with a number of photos. While the Iconica Tab A200 is a 10.1-inch model powered by the NVIDIA’s 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, the A700 makes use of the more powerful Tegra 3 hardware.
The Acer Iconica Tab A700 is apparently slimmer and more powerful than the A200, and will show its face at CES 2012 next week.
Boasting a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution screen, which has a SIM and micro-USB slots, volume control rocker, audio out, micro-HDMI port and a physical dedicated rotation lock switch.
On the back of the Acer Tab A700 there you find a textured back, along with a five megapixel camera, which also has its own built in flash. It weighs 650 grams, and boasts a solid ten hour battery life.
Nomobile say that the we can expect to see the Acer Iconica Tab A700 in March. We’ll have to take all of this with a grain of salt for now, but come this time next week, we will hopefully see Acer showing the A700 off at CES, where they will confirm the details, and hopefully throw us a price tag and offical release date.
