Acer Aspire One 521The Acer Aspire One 521 is a new 10.1-inch netbook which will features AMD components and processor, rather than the usual Intel Atom core.

While the Acer AO521 has yet to be officially announced by Acer, but reliable source Macles have a number of photos of the netbook, along with a lot of details.

The Acer Aspire AO521 has a new design and a large chrome plated logo on the lid.

It makes use of the AMD V105 1.2GHz processor with 512KB L2 cache and DDR3 support, from the “Nile” platform, which has a 9W TDP.

It also features an integrated ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics with 384MB dedicated memory, along with an HDMI output, so HD 1080p video shouldn’t be a problem with this netbook.

The battery life is quoted at roughly 7 hours, and comes with a new light and compact power adapter called MiniGo, which also features interchangeable plugs. Great for someone who travels a lot with their netbook.

Finally there is also mention of optional Bluetooth 3.0+HS support.
