Acer Aspire One 532 – Pine Trail Netbook

The Acer Aspire One 532 appears to be a new netbook from Acer, and not just any netbook.

It looks like the Acer AO532h might just be Acer’s very first Pine Trail netbook. Although not officially announced, a bunch of information has become available after the model name was listed on Acer’s official drivers page.

Peter from Netbooked has managed to dig up some further information including most of it’s specifications, including the new Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail processor.

The Acer Aspire One 532 looks set to feature a 10.1-inch 1280 x 720 display (or 1024 x 600), Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 160 . 250GB hard drive, 3-cell battery, multi-card-reader, 3x USB 2.0, VGA output, Optional Bluetooth and Windows 7 Starter.

It also looks like the Acer Aspire One 532 will be available in Black, Blue, Red and Silver color options. One merchant listed the Acer AO532 at €299. Acer’s Official Drivers Page.

Update: The Acer Aspire One AO532h has now been officially announced, along with a photo. It looks great!

Update 2: The Acer AO532h is now available for pre-order from Amazon! They have all three colors available in two different configurations. The $299 models have 8 hour battery life, and a 160GB hard drive, while the $349 models havea 10 hour battery life and larger 250GB hard drive!
