The Acer 1420P is the latest tablet netbook to be announced by Acer. It has shown it’s face at a press show in Japan, but even better, a space has been created on the official Acer US website letting us know that is will be coming this way soon!
As you can see from the photos, the Acer Aspire 1420P looks very nice indeed, and will be available in black, blue and red finishes.
The price and release date are currently unknown, but we do know most of it’s specifications.
It features an 11.6-inch LED backlit multitouch screen with a WXGA resolution, and it powered by an Intel Celeron SU2300 (1.2GHz, Dual-core) processor, with 4GB of RAM, up to a max of 8GB. Along with a 320GB hard drive, webcam, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, and Intel GMA 4500MHD Graphics.
The 6-cell (5600mAh) should be good enough to last 8-hours while running the included Windows 7 Home Premium OS. There is also a multicard reader, VGA and HDMI output and three USB 2.0 ports. Via Engadget
