While the Acer 1810T has been renamed to the Acer 1410 for the U.S market, there seems to be a more powerful version coming to the market very soon.
The Acer 1810TZ, take note of the extra Z at the end of the model name, has been listed on the official Acer website, and features a more powerful dual-core processor.
Acer Aspire 1810TZ netbook features the dual core 1.3GHz Intel SU4100 CPU, instead of the single-cord SU3500 CPU in the non TZ model.
Both processors have the 45nm Penryn core, and 800MHz front side bus, but the SU4100 has a 10W TDP, instead of the 5.5W of the SU3500. This will have a slightly negative impact on the battery life, but the performance boost of a dual core CPU will certainly speed things up.

As far as we know the rest of the details and specifications remain the same. Including a 11.6-inch LCD, a 6-cell battery, 250 GB hard drive, and 4500MHD graphics.
The Acer 1810TZ has now been released, and is available with Windows 7 Home Premium in black and blue color options for $579.99 from Amazon, or £449 from Amazon UK!
