On the outside the new 11.6-inch Acer Aspire Timeline X 1830T and Acer Aspire One 721 are pretty much identical to each other with the same chassis. But when you take a look at the price, the 1830T is between $599 and $699, while the Aspire One 721 costs only $430.
So why the price difference? The 1830T as reviewed here features the Intel ULCV processor and hardware, where as the One 721 makes use of the latest AMD hardware and CPU.
LaptopMag have reviewed both of the thin and light laptops and name the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T as the better of the two, with better performance and almost twice the battery life. But when you take the price into consideration, you maybe more tempted by the Acer 721, at only $420.
They liked performance and graphics of the 1830T and were impressed by its comfortable keyboard and HDMI output. But they weren’t too keen on the price, webcam quality or its relatively small touchpad.
You can buy the Acer Aspire 1830T from Amazon for $599
