acer aspire 752Acer aren’t letting Asus have all the limelight at CeBIT this year and have announced a new multimedia netbook to the market.

The Acer Aspire One 752 joins the Aspire One group of netbooks from Acer, even though the Acer 752 is more of a thin and light than a netbook.

Crossing the line between netbook and thin and light the Acer Aspire One 752 features the Intel Celeron 743 ULV processor, along with Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, and up to a very healthy 4GB of RAM.

It sounds and looks a lot like the Acer Aspire Timeline 1410, we think this new “Aspire One” name has been given to the 752 as they want people to see this model as a larger multimedia netbook, rather than a small laptop.

It also features an 11.6-inch LCD with a 1366 x 768 pixel resoltuion (720p HD), HDMI output, Bluetooth, WiFi, a large 320GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet and optional 3G.

With the 4500MHD graphics, and HDMI output, it can playback 1080p HD movies, be used for 3D gaming and be connected to an HDTV.

And finally, it comes with a multi touch trackpad, and a 5 hour battery life.

No word on the price just yet, but expect to see the 22mm thin netbook in black, white, red and blue color options in May, in the UK / Europe at least. We assume it will also make it’s US debut around the same time.
