During the recent influx of new netbooks announced at Computex this month Acer unveiled a number of new netbooks and computers to the market.
Along with the Aspire One 533, 521, and D260 there was also the 11.6-inch Acer Aspire One 753 which almost slipped past us.
The Acer Aspire One 753 (Acer AO753) was announced via a UK press release earlier this month. The Acer Aspire AO753 isn’t a netbook, but is a slightly larger 11.6 inch notebook powered by the Intel Celeron CULV (Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage) U3400 processor, which makes it a “thin and light laptop”.

Acer Aspire One 753
It’s a great looking notebook and is being marketed by Acer as an entertainment machine which is also energy efficient and extremely portable. It has an 11.6-inch LED backlit LCD with an 1366 x 768 HD pixel resolution, along with Intel HD graphics with 128MB of video memory and DirectX 10 support and HDMI output.
At about 1-inch thick and weighing just 1.4kg the Acer Aspire One 753 should be plenty portable. Battery life is also impressive, rated at 6-hour of run time. Other features including up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, and a large 640GB hard drive.
The Acer Aspire One 753 will be available in four “mesh” colors, Black, Red, Brown and Silver.
Update: You can now pre-order the Acer Aspire One 753 in all it’s colors in the UK from Amazon UK from £349!
