One of the most popular netbooks has been the Acer Aspire One, and now the updated version, the Acer Aspire One D150 is now available for pre-order, and has been given the once over.
Sascha from Netbooknews.de is over in Taiwan, and has got his hands on the new Acer D150 netbook and provided a video preview.
The 10.1-inch D150 here has the N270 Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, 160GB HDD, and large 6-cell battery, which should last a good 7 hours or so.
When compared with the Samsung NC10 the D150 doesn’t impress to much with regards to the looks and aesthetics wise. The keyboard doesn’t run the full width of the netbook, and bends a little on key presses.
The Acer Aspire One D150 seems like a solid netbook, with a great battery, but with so many great netbooks pushing the standard further, we can’t help but think they could have done a little more.
Update: the Aspire One D150 review has now been added to the site.
