Netbooks have been following the trend of looking more professional and sleek with each new model. The first netbooks were not only cheap, they looked it as well . Today they are less plastic like, a lot more stylish, and a lot more attractive to professional users.
So it’s no surprise that Acer have now announced the Acer Aspire One Pro netbook, which is, as you might have guessed from the name, aimed at the professional and business users.
The Aspire One Pro, aka AA1 Pro has a more industrial / professional design, with reinforced hinges for extra robustness, and extra design features such as a carbon fiber bar, and chrome finishes.
As the Acer Aspire One Pro is more upmarket, you can expect the price to go the same way. The specifications of the Acer One Pro are currently unknown, but we expect it to be the usual Atom CPU. It’s expected to feature Linux and Windows operating system choices, along with a choice of a HHD or SSD.
Update: The AA1 Pro has been officialy announced by Acer as the Acer Aspire One 531.
