You might remember that the very impressive (and very red) looking Acer Ferrari One netbook, which was announced a few weeks back also featured an ATI XGP interface.
Now Acer have announced the DynaVivid Graphics Dock. The Acer DynaVivid is an optional add-on which connects to the Ferrari On via the ATI XGP interface, boosting it’s graphics via the use of the on-board ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 video chip.
The Acer DynaVivid is essentially an external graphics card, providing more powerful graphics, which is capable of rendering 2,048 x 1,536 pixels to an extrernal display via it’s HDMI and VGA ports.

The DynaVivid also features 6x USB 2.0 ports for external devices.
It weighs 0.65kg and measures 193.5 x 193.5 x 32.8mm, and requires it’s own power adapter. While it might not be ideal to bring around with you netbook, it is ideal for use at home.
It will be available this Novemer for about $199. Via: Netbooked.
