Acer Ferrari One Now In the US

Acer Ferrari OneWhile the interesting Ferrari One netbook has been available in the UK for some time now, until now it hasn’t been available in the US.

The 11.6-inch Ferrari themed netbook is more powerful than an average netbook, and features 4GB of DDR2 RAM, the 1.2 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor, a 250GB hard drive and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics.

Acer Ion 2 Netbook Coming Soon?

Netbooks powered by Nvidia’s second generation Ion graphics platform could arrive even sooner than first expected. Acer has reportedly placed a large order for the latest Nvidia Ion 2 chips, which will be paired with the latest Atom Pineview processors.

Netbooks with the current Ion graphics are in high demand, and the second generation will push the speed to 2x than of the original.

Acer Ferrari One Review

Acer Ferrari OneThe Acer Ferrari One is certainly a netbook which stands out from the rest of the vast array of other netbooks on the market. This is for two reasons, firstly, it’s design and more importantly red color. Secondly is it’s specifications and internal hardware.

The Ferrari themed netbook measures 11.6-inches, and sports the Ferrari logo and iconic red finish, but there is more to the design of the Acer Ferrari One FO200 than the slab of red.

Acer 1420P Tablet

Acer Aspire 1420pThe Acer 1420P is the latest tablet netbook to be announced by Acer. It has shown it’s face at a press show in Japan, but even better, a space has been created on the official Acer US website letting us know that is will be coming this way soon!

As you can see from the photos, the Acer Aspire 1420P looks very nice indeed, and will be available in black, blue and red finishes.

Acer have now taken the popular 1810T and made it into the Acer 1820P convertible multitouch tablet netbook, also known as a “netvertible”.

The 11.6-inch Acer Aspire Timeline 1820P (to use it’s full name), has the same internal specifications as the popular 1810, along with the same external design and port layout, but adds a pivoting / rotating multitouch screen.
