The recently announced entry level / budget Eee PC netbook, the Asus 1001HA is now available to order in the UK!

It is still unknown whether the Asus Eee PC 1001HA will remain just in Europe, or also become available in the US.

The Asus 1001HA is now available to order for a very low price from just £215. A great price for a brand new netbook with the popular Seashell design.

While the specifications are fairly standard, I will go as far as saying that the Asus 1001HA is probably the best budget netbook on the market today.

For less than £200, you will get a great looking netbook with a 10.1-inch LCD with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 3x USB 2.0, webcam and a three cell battery. It comes with Windows XP and should run for up to 4 hours.

The Asus 1001HA is available to purchase in black and white colour options from Amazon UK. They both appear to have an attractive textured finish.

Update :It’s now available in the US for $417 from Amazon!

Update 2: If you’re having trouble finding the 1001HA, that’s because it has been replaced by the Asus Eee PC 1001P, which is available from just $289!
