Asus UK are officially launching their Karim Rashid Eee PC Seashell 1008P collection this weekend in London.

While looking through the press photos of the Asus Eee PC 1008P I noticed a set of photos I haven’t seen before.

As if the 1008P-KR didn’t look great enough as it did, it seems that Asus have an official accessory range to go along with the netbook.

As you know, the 1008P has a unique textured finish, available in “Hot Pink” and “Coffee Brown”, designed by Karim Rashid. This design has been carried over on to a unique case featuring the same finish, and a color matching mouse.

To match the netbook, the case and mouse will be available in brown and pink color options.

From looking at the photos the inside of the case looks to be soft, with the exterior matching the exterior of the netbook.

I would assume these are optional extras, and I’m not sure if they are just for the UK market, or will be available worldwide.  I will update this post when more information is known.
