If you’re anything like me, you have no doubt been keeping your eyes open for the latest generation of Asus Eee PCs to come our way.

When the three new Asus Eee PCs were announced (the Asus Eee PC 1015P, 1016P, 1018P) they certainly gained their fair share of attention with their stylish new design and finishes.

Now two out of the three are now up for pre-order in the UK from Amazon. Exact pricing and release dates are now known.

The Asus Eee PC 1015P is available to pre-order for just £279, and will be released August 7th.

The DDR3 supporting, 1.83Ghz Atom N475 packing Asus Eee PC 1018P is available to pre-order for £349.00, and will be released slightly later on August 23rd.

It’s great to finally known exactly when these impressive looking netbook are finally coming our way, and for exactly how much.

Slightly strangely, where we have seen the 1015P and 1018P available for pre-order in the UK, in the US on the other hand, we have see the 1016P and 1018P up for pre-order.

The Asus Eee PC 1015P appears to have a textured finish, and features the Intel Atom N450 1.66Ghz processor, with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.

The higher Asus Eee PC 1018P is a higher end model, and along with its very impressive all aluminum chassis, features the new Intel Atom N475 1.83Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM and a larger 250GB hard drive.
