Asus Eee PC 1015PFor those of you patiently waiting for the Asus Eee PC 1015P, one of Asus’ latest 10-inch netbooks to come our way have some good news.

The Asus 1015P has just passed through the US FCC, which means it should be available very soon, as the FCC is the last port of call before its release.

Also, the FCC has gone one step further, and have publish a number of disassembly photos along with their documents.

The FCC photos don’t really show anything too significant or surprising, but seeing these photos can be useful to users who wish to modify their netbooks, such as swapping out the original hard drive, or adding in new hardware. As can be seen, the hard drive takes up a lot of the space, but there is a significant amount of free space towards the front of the 1015P.

The photos show the WiFi card, hard drive, motherboard, removed keyboard, battery and bottom RAM access panel for RAM for easy RAM upgrades.

Hopefully we will see the Asus Eee PC 1015P very shortly!
