Asus have just announced another new netbook to their Eee PC lineup. The Asus Eee PC 1015PW is virtually identical to the very impressive 1015PEM, and features the same new dual core Intel Atom 1.5GHz processor.

Sharing the same hardware configuration as the Asus 1015PEM, but this time the Asus 1015PW features a stylish new look and set of colors.

Rather than the traditional black and silver color options, the Asus Eee PC 1015PW has a new “wave design” which is an extension to the popular and current seashell curved casing. Along with this new design finish comes a whole host of new color options. A deep “Purple Rain”, “Gold Dust” and “Angel Skin”. Clearly these colors seem more targeted towards females, so if you’re a guy an like the sound of this netbook, but don’t like the colors, you might be better off looking at the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM.

Asus 1015PW

The 10.1-inch Asus 1015PW display has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution with a matte finish, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, Intel Atom dual core N550 1.5GHz processor, and either a 250GB or 320GB hard drive. It also features 802.11b/g/n WiFi, bluetooth, a webcam and a multi-card reader.

The release date for the 1015PW is currently unknown, but we expect it to be available in Europe and the US shortly for around $359 to $399.
