The Asus Eee PC 1015T had a quite announcement, in fact it wasn’t announced in any press release we have seen, but Asus was showing it off at the recent Computex show.
What makes the Asus 1015T different from all the other new 10-inch Asus netbooks recently announced is its AMD equipment. While it looks virtually identical to the 1015P & 1015PE models already shown off, rather thank using the Intel Atom processor, it makes use of the AMD V105 1.2GHz CPU and ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics.
Using this AMD hardware, it means that it can also support up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, while most netbooks on the market can only handle up to 2GB.
The Asus 1015T’s ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics can playback HD video and also output it via the HDMI port to your HDTV / monitor.
Other than the main AMD change, the rest of the specifications remain the same and are pretty standard. The display is 10.1-inches with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, with 1GB / 2GB of DDR3 RAM (can be upgraded to 4GB), up to 320GB hard drive space, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and optional Bluetooth.
The model on display had a non glossy / soft touch matte lid, and matte palm rest. This is great to see and more preferable to the super glossy fingerprint magnets of many previous models.
The Asus Eee PC 1015T has a 6 cell, 56Whr battery which should provide about 6 hours of run time, and comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition.
No price or release date are currently known for the Asus 1015T. Via Netbooked

It’s great to see that computer manufacturers wanting to try AMD platforms aren’t scared of Intel’s wrath these days.
It took the FTC 5-years to finally lift a finger and tell INTEL TO STOP BREAKING THE LAW.
Yes, Intel, bribing and threatening OEMs to not make or delay AMD products is BAD BAD BAD! You bad boys.
