The wait is almost over! Two out of the three great new Eee PC netbooks from Asus are finally coming our way and can now be pre-ordered!
These netbooks caused somewhat of a stir when they were unveiled at various recent trade shows. With higher build quality than we are used to seeing on netbooks, and a great looking aluminum finish.
The Asus Eee PC 1018P and Eee PC 1016P can now be pre-ordered from ExcaliberPC, for $429 and $499 respectively.
These two price tags are higher than we are used to seeing, but they are both higher quality netbooks than normal. Along with the great looking aluminum finish and high build quality, both models also features matte display (no annoying reflections, new faster USB 3.0 ports, and the Asus 1080P also features a fingerprint scanner.
Both the Asus 1016P and 1018P are expected to ship out at the end of the month (July 29th).
The Asus Eee PC 1015P has yet to appear on any sites for order, but it very recently passed through the FCC, so we can expect to see it very shortly.
We are also confident that we will see both, or all three netbooks available at Amazon over the next week or two.
