Just a one day after Samsung’s new 11.6-inch N510 netbook became available to order, the highly anticipated 11.6 inch Asus 1101HA has now shown up at some online stores both in the U.S and the UK.
The Asus 1101HA is larger than most Eee PC netbooks and is the largest to feature Asus’ popular Seashell design.
The black 1101HA is now shipping and available to order in black from Amazon for $429.99. Currently only the Pearl Black model is showing up, which has the model; Asus 1101HA-MU1X-BK.
The Asus Eee PC 1101HA is also available in the UK from Amazon.co.uk for £339.97. It says it will ship in 1-2 months, but another seller on Amazon UK say they have it in stock, but at £389.
The Asus 1101HA features an 11.6-inch LCD with a higher than normal 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, which gives you extra desktop space and makes browsing websites easier. It also features 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Intel GMA 500 graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and 3x USB 2.0 ports.
