The long rumored 11.6-inch netbook from Asus finally showed up at the Asus 1101HA a number of months ago. Since then the 1101HA has seen a review, where it was rated “very good”.

Netbooks started off small, 7 or 8-inches or so, and since then have expanded in size, to what we have here, the 11.6-inch Asus Eee PC 1101HA netbook. While the 1101HA is larger than most netbooks, it still keeps it’s popular netbook features, such as a thin and lightweight design, and long battery life.

As the Asus 1101HA is slightly larger than most netbooks, it also means there is more room for a larger, more comfortable to use keyboard, along with a larger higher resolution (1,366×768, rather than 1,024×600) which gives you extra desktop space, and generally makes the Asus 1101HA easier to use. It features the 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor.

The 1101HA also features an Ethernet connection, and 802.11n WiFi, both features which are not present on more expensive devices such as the MacBook Air.

CnetUK gave the Asus 1101HA a seven out of 10 (very good) rating and said they very much liked the High resolution screen, excellent battery life, and very comfortable keyboard. The Asus Eee PC 1101HA has enough in its arsenal to challenge the best netbooks on the market, namely long battery life, a great keyboard and a high-res display. Unfortunately it’s let down by a slow CPU.
