Asus has been a longtime supporter of Netbook, and while other companies are pulling away from them and investing their time on hopes in the new Ultrabook market, Asus are staying true to their netbook line and have just announced three new netbooks at CES 2012 for 2012.

I feel that just as netbooks are getting to a good standard with higher quality and faster processors, people are loosing attention as tablets and ultrabooks are stealing the spotlight. Either way, these there new netbooks from Asus look very nice, and consist of the Asus Eee PC 1025C (& 1025CE), 1225B and the X101CH.

Asus Eee PC 1025C

First up is the Asus Eee PC 1025C, this 10.1-inch netbook is the latest version of their most popular netbook and features the new Intel Atom N2600 dual core 1.6GHz CPU, with integrated Intel UMA graphics (720p output). The 10.1-inch display is LED backlit and has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, along with 1GB of DDR3 memory, and a 5,400 rpm hard drive.

Asus 1025C / 1025CE

It also features 3x USB 2.0 ports, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a media card reader, VGA / HDMI video output and comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition.

It will be available in blue, rude, gray, pink and black color options. It will cost you just $299 and will be available next month!

There is also the Asus Eee PC 1025CE version, which is their higher end model, and comes with a more powerful 1.86GHz Intel Atom N2800 dual core processor, but bumps the price slightly to $319. Worth is if you want the extra power boost.

Both the Acer 1025C / CE are said to have a 10 hour battery life.

Asus Eee PC 1225B

The new 12.1-inch offering from Asus is the Asus Eee PC 1225B. As indicated from the B in the model name, the Asus 1225B makes use of the new AMD E-450 dual core processor with integrated Radeon graphics. It has a higher 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution with 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 5,400PRM hard drive, two x USB 3.0, a 1 x USB 2.0 ports. It also features a 0.3 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth 3.0, a media card reader, and a six cell battery, all in a package weighing just 3.1 pounds.

Asus 1225B

The Acer 1225B will be available in Red, White and Black from next month. No word on price just yet.

Asus Eee PC X101CH

Finally we have the new entry level netbook, the Asus Eee PC X101CH. The Asus X101CH will cost you just $269 and features a 10.1-inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, VGA output, 802.11b/g/n Wifi, 3x USB ports.

Expect to see the X101CH from next month.
