There has been a lot of attention on the recently announced Asus Eee Box EB1501 nettop which features Nvidia Ion graphics, dual core Atom 330 CPU, and comes with Windows 7. View my EB1501 hands on.
But there is a variant of the EB1501 called the EB1502 which has kind of slipped under the radar.
The Asus Eee Box EB1502 has the same exterior as the EB1501, and keeps the Ion graphics, but in place of the dual core 330 CPU, it features the less powerful 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, along with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
Also, in place of the shiny new Windows 7 OS, it features Windows XP.
Asus EB1502
The Asus EB1502 is essentially a more basic / budget version of the EB1501.
Other features include, VGA / HDMI output, 1x eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, integrated DVD burner, 5-in-1 card reader, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.
The Asus Eee Box EB1502 is expected to be available for 330 Euros from November 20th.
