We first heard of the Asus Eee PC 1000HV way back in July, when it was leaked along with 23 other Eee PCs. Since then we have heard nothing of the Asus 1000HV, until today.
The Asus 1000HV has shown up at a number of Italian online stores to order. Unlike most Eee PC netbooks, the 1000HA features discrete ATI graphics, in the form of the ATI Radeon HD 3450 video card with 256MB memory. This makes a nice change from the low powered, low performing onboard graphics which most netbooks feature.
The Asus Eee PC 1000HV also features the latest Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU, along with 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.0. The 10-inch display has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, with built in 1.3 megapixel webcam, speakers, mic, and multi card reader.

There is a VGA output, rather than going with a HDMI or DVI output. The 6-cell battery should be good for over five hours of use.
The ASUS 1000HV will hopefully be available in the rest of Europe and the US soon. It should be popular with people who want some extra graphics power from their netbook to play more games and HD videos. The blue model is listed as Asus 1000HV-BLU007X.
