Just a short few days after the reviewers got their hands on Asus’s most impressive Eee PC netbook to-date, the Asus 1008HA, Asus release two more Eee PC netbooks which look just as impressive.

The Asus 1005HA is now available from Amazon for just $319! (8.5 hours), or $359 Now On Offer (10.5 hours). With Windows 7 for $336 – $387.

I will start with the most important bit of information which distinguishes the Asus Eee PC 1005HA away from the 1008HA, the battery. Unlike the battery in the Asus 1008HA, the slightly larger 6-cell battery in the Asus 1005HA is removable, allowing you to swap out an empty battery for a new one, and keep using the netbook on extended periods.

Asus have split the Asus 1005HA into two netbooks, the Asus 1005HA-M and the Asus 1005HA-H. The Asus Eee PC 1005HA-M model features the Intel N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GH hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a 6-cell (2200mAh) battery which should be good for 8 hours, and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The Asus Eee PC 1005HA-H model features the newer Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU, and adds Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a larger 6-cell li-ion 2800mAh battery, which should last 10 hours. Both models feature 3x USB 2.0 ports (one more than the 1008HA), and a 10-inch 1024×600 pixel LED backlit LCD.

Both of the Asus 1005HA’s are set for a July launch in Europe and the U.S, with the Asus 1005HA-PU1X going for $389, and the Asus 1005HA-VU1X for ($450).

Update: Asus have confirmed the specifications of the Asus Eee PC 1005HA as, Seashell design, battery life upto 10.5 hours, 160GB HDD, 802.11n and Bluetooth V2.1, 10.1-inch 1024×600 resolution LCD, Intel Atom N270/ N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, and Windows XP / Linux.

The three battery options are as follows: Li-ion Battery 6-Cell 2.2Ah(48W/h), 8.5 hrs; 2.8Ah(63W/h), 10.5hrs Li-ion Battery 3-Cell 2.2Ah(23W/h), 8.5 hrs.  It is available in white, black, pink and blue color options.
