Less that 24 hours after I posted about the Asus 1008HA coming to the US some time this summer, Amazon have been super quick and have added it to their site.
The pricing is as expected at a very reasonable $429. Amazon have both the black and the white models available to order. We expect the Asus Eee PC 1008HA to be a very popular netbook due to it’s very impressive stylish and thin design, along with it’s price and decent specifications. I am very tempted to order the 1008HA myself!

The two models listed on Amazon quote the specifications as the latest Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz, 1GB of DDR2 RAM (upto 2GB), slim 1-inch thick design, light weights 2.4lbs, and runs Windows XP Home edition.

Update: Asus are giving early buyers a $20 discount!, available via Amazon. Bringing the price down to $409.99 !
