The Asus Eee PC 1201NL is very similar to the other 12-inch Eee PCs on the market, and can be seen as a budget version of the 1201N.
While the 1201N has a dual core Atom N330 processor, and comes with Windows 7, the Asus Eee PC 1201NL features the single core Intel Atom N270 processor, and has Windows XP operating system, but retains its Nvidia Ion graphics.
It is also roughly £100 cheaper than the 1201N bringing the price down to £319.00, and much more in line with the other netbooks on the market. We have yet to see this model appear on the US market, but it is available in the UK in black and silver color options from £319.

The Asus Eee PC 1201NL has large display, well, large for a netbook, with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution giving you plenty of desktop space. Other specifications include 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth and a 0.3MP webcam.
A real plus for the Asus 1201NL is its nvidia Ion graphics which gives it the ability to playback 720p and 1080P HD videos, where as other Atom based netbooks will stutter. It also features both a standard VGA output and an HDMI output delivering digital video and audio output, and enabling it to be connected to an HDTV.
