Having just announced two “Eee Pads“, Asus have also announced an “Eee Tablet” device.
You are probably wondering what the difference between a “Pad” device and a “Tablet”. Well, in the eyes of Asus, the Pad is the more powerful multi use device, while the tablet is a simpler device which they are aiming as a touch, note taking device.
The Asus Eee Tablet has an 8-inch Passive TFT-LCD touchscreen display with a very high 2450 dpi touch resolution, making it one of the world’s most accurate digital note taking device. The Eee Tablet battery should last a full 10-hours on a single charge.

You can make notes and text annotations on the fly, and store, sort and tag this information. There is also a 2 megapixel camera for taking images of slides and more, along with a media player.
You can sync the Eee Tablet with your computer via the USB port and Micro SD card.
It can also be used as an e-reader, and have a fast 0.1-second page turn, nine times faster than a standard e-reader.
