Asus have released yet another Eee PC, the Asus 1003HAG, this time heading for Japan. The Japanese market will soon see the Asus Eee PC 1003HAG equipped with a built in wireless WAN module for NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA network support, with speedy 7.2Mbps downlink speed.
The FOMA network is compatible with the UMTS network. The Asus Eee PC 1003HAG is ideal for anyone who wants fast Internet where ever they are.
Besides the WWAN you will find a 10-inch LCD with a WSVGA resolution, the new Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, and 802.11b/g/n wireless lan.
The Asus 1003HAG claims to last 4.3-hours on the standard battery, and will be available in Japan, in a choise of three colors (white / black / pink) from May 16th for 68,799 Yen, which is $722 US.
