Building on one of the most popular netbooks, the Asus 1005HA, the new Asus 1005PE has taken this successful netbook and upgraded it with the latest generation Intel Atom 450 processor (Pine Trail, hence the “P”), and made a number of tweaks along the way.

Asus Eee Pad

According to industry sources Asus are currently working on a touch screen pad device. The Asus Eee Pad, as it has already been dubbed is said to offer a combination of MID and tablet PC capabilities.

The Eee Pad is also said to measure between four and seven inches diagonally.
