The very impressive and beautifully designed ASUS UL30Vt thin and light notebook which showed up on Amazon a little over a week ago for pre-order is now shipping from Amazon for $799.
While the ASUS UL30Vt isn’t a netbook, it is just one inch larger than some of the larger netbooks now days at 13-inches. The UL30Vt is a thin a light machine, which puts it somewhere between a netbook and standard laptop.

The model shown in these photos is actually a special designer edition of the Asus 1008P, designed by Karim Rashid. It looks like it has been designed to look similar to clutch bag with a textured finish.

The upcoming Asus Eee PC 1201T 12.1-inch netbook is the latest model to be officially announced by Asus.
We have known about the Asus 1201T for a little while now, but it’s specifications have remained mostly unknown until now. This “T” model is one of three from the Asus 1201 12-inch netbook range, which features the already available 1201HA and the upcoming Nvidia Ion powered 1201N models.

There has been a lot of attention of the 1201N model which features Ion graphics (and costs more), but if you don’t need this, the Asus 1201HA model should suit you well.

We have known about the Asus Eee PC 1201N netbook since late August, and it has even shown up for pre-order in a number of countries including the US. But until today the Asus 1201N hasn’t been officially announced by Asus, and only a few photos have been floating around the net.
