The new Asus Eee Box EB1501U has just been announced at CeBIT. The Eee Box nettop looks exactly the same as the EB1501 model which it replaces, and it essentially is, but with USB 3.0 ports instead.
The EB1501 made big news in the netbook / nettop market when it was announced as the first nettop featuring a DVD drive which could be mounted to the back of your monitor or HDTV.

The Asus Eee PC 1001PQ netbook has just been announced over at CeBIT. Asus are aiming the 1001PQ at kids, but I suspect it’s older kids / early teenagers rather than younger kids, where they have their Disney Netbooks.
So far it looks like it will be available with two color options, one is bright yellow with a kind of “Go Faster” black stripes running down the lid, that you might expect to see on a car. The other is just all black with an aluminum frame.

Asus previously took the Eee PC 1005HA and added the recent Pine Trail Atom N450 processor creating the Asus Eee PC 1005P, now they had added a new HD display to it creating the Asus Eee PC 1005PR.
The Asus 1005PR looks identical to the 1005P / PE, announced earlier this year in terms of design and specifications, but instead of the standard 10.1-inch 1024 x 768 pixel LCD, the 1005PR has a higher resolution 1366 x 768 pixel (720p HD) 10.1-inch display.

ASUS Eee PC 1015P
The newly announced Asus 1015P and 1015PE netbooks are the two of the latest netbooks to join the Eee PC family.
They build on the Asus 1005PE (see my review here) and have a similar design, but now with a new matte / non gloss finish!
The biggest complaint about the previous model was it’s all gloss fingerprint magnet design, so it’s great to see a nice fingerprint resistant matte finish.

The Asus 1201PN looks very similar to the popular HD capable Asus Eee PC 1201N, but has been updated with the latest processor and “Next Generation Ion” (aka Ion 2) graphics card.
The Asus Eee PC 1201PN adds the letter “P” to it’s name, to symbolize the use of the new Intel Atom N450 1.66Ghz Pine Trail processor.
Update: The Asus 1201PN is now available and shipping! You can order from Amazon for just $484!
The Atom 330 has been swapped out for the new more energy efficient N450, along with the new Ion graphics.

The new products from Asus are coming in thick and fast ahead of CeBIT 2010, and the Asus Eee PC 1016P has grabbed a vast amount of attention.
While at first glance looking similar to the newly announced Asus 1018P, the Asus 1016P aluminum clad netbook packs a few extras.

Even though CeBIT in Hanover doesn’t officially kick off until tomorrow, a number of impressive netbooks have already appeared.
The most impressive of all is the all aluminum chassis Asus Eee PC 1018P. This new netbook sits at the top of the Eee PC ranks and as such has the “Eee PC Prime” logo at the top left of the screen.

The best selling, most popular netbook of 2009 was almost without question, the Asus Eee PC 1005HA. And while it was released last year it still remains a very popular netbook today.
Now Asus is back with the Asus Eee PC 1005PE (and 1005P) netbook. Asus have taken the 1005HA and improved it for 2010 by using the latest generation Intel Atom N450 processor. They have kept the same winning “Seashell” design for the Asus 1005PE, but it’s new, more energy efficient hardware is easier on the battery, leading to even longer run times.

As soon as the Asus 1005PE was first announced I knew it would be a very popular netbook. I believe this as I feel that the Eee PC 1005PE offers exactly what the mass netbook audience is looking for in a netbook.
Building on one of the most popular netbooks, the Asus 1005HA, the new Asus 1005PE has taken this successful netbook and upgraded it with the latest generation Intel Atom 450 processor (Pine Trail, hence the “P”), and made a number of tweaks along the way.
