We have just received word from the German Eee PC news site that the Taiwanese Digitimes have confirmed reports that we will soon see a touchscreen Eee PC also dual core Atom Eee PCs.
Asus are planning on launching a touch screen Eee PC in the first quarter of 2009, which they are will continue to drive sales even further. This is been confirmed by Samson Hu, general manager of Eee PC business.
Also confirmed is that Asus will lauched a dual core Atom based Eee PC netbook as soon as Intel being to ship these CPUs. For will be great for people who want more power, and multitasking from their netbooks. No dates are confirmed as of yet.
A sub $300 netbook has also been announced for release during 2009.
