The new tablet which has until now been know as the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2, has the same form factor and transforming feature as the original, but the new Prime is “faster, stronger, slimmer, and of course, sexier.”
Along with its new slimmer, stronger design, the Transformer Prime is the world’s first tablet to makes use of the Project Kal-El, Nvdia’s next generation, quad-core Tegra mobile chip. This makes the Asus Transformer Prime the most powerful tablet to hit the market. Multitaskng and HD movies will be handled with ease.
The very slim (at 8.3mm) Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime has a 10-inch display, and a mini-HDMI port for connection to a computer monitor or HDTV. It has a beautiful new design with a woven aluminum finish, and will run Google Android operating system. We assume it will initially come with honeycomb, but will upgradable to the latest Ice Cream Sandwich.
