The very impressive UL30 has been taken one step further with the Asus UL30VT notebook, which adds discrete switchable graphics, offering the best of both worlds with long battery life and high performance graphics.
The 13.3-inch Asus UL30VT isn’t a netbook, but a “thin and light” notebook, which sits between netbooks and larger notebooks. The original UL30 was a very impressive laptop already, but with the addition of the GraphiX Boost technology in the Asus UL30VT is even more impressive. The switchable Asus UL30VT GraphiX Boost feature allows you to switch between a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce G 210M powerful graphics, and the integrated Intel graphics for energy saving.

Asus UL30VT
The Asus UL30VT is a beautiful machine with a “Stylishly Robust Brushed Aluminum Exterior” and thickness of less than one inch. The UL30VT features an 13.1-inch LCD backlit high definition LCD with a 16:9 aspect ratio, with a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, and 4GB of DDR3 RAM (max 8GB).
The UL30Vt also features Asus Turbo33 technology which boosts both hardware and software to provide 33% performance boost.
If the previous UL30 didn’t have the graphical power for you, the new Asus UL30VT should be perfect for you!
The Asus UL30VT is now available to order at Amazon, and is currently shipping!
Update: The Asus UL30Vt-A1 has now shown up on Amazon for $849! The A1 model, as opposed to the X1 model has a larger 5,600mAh battery, which should provide upto 12 hour of battery life! Not bad for an extra $50.

I’m using the UL30 as I write and am simply amazed at it’s power and functionality not to mention that it’s so light even with battery. Without the battery in the machine would literally blow away.
Finally a massively powerful computer that’s easy
on the shoulder!
Thank you ASUS!
