Dell have just announced and launched the Dell Inspiron M101z 11.16-inch netbook.
The Dell M101z has gone straight from being unknown, to being up for purchase in the UK. The M101z is Dell’s second generation 11-inch netbook, which builds on the Dell Inspiron 11z.
It’s powered by AMD’s new Athlon II Neo processors, and you can select from either the Athlon II Neo K125 single core processor, or the dual core K325. It also makes use of ATI RS880M integrated graphics.

The 11.6-inch LCD in the Dell M101z has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution for 720P HD resolutions, with a glossy finish. It has an attractive design which looks similar to many of the recent Dell Inspiron releases. It also has a flush battery and a good trackpad, not the one found in the original 11z!
Pricing of the Dell Inspiron M101z starts at £379. You can get it with 2GB – 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB / 320GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI output, and a 6-cell battery which is rated at 6.5 hours of life.
Buy now from Dell UK from £379.
No word on a US release just yet, but we expect it to be available soon.
