The last few days have been busy with Dell Mini 10 news as we slowly find out more information about the countdown to it’s release. Well, a day ahead of schedule, and the official Dell website are now taking orders of the Inspiron Mini 10!
While this is of course great news, some of you might want to hold back on ordering just yet. As reported two days ago, the first batch of Mini 10′s can’t be customized at order, and are limited to 1GB of ram.
Currently you can order the Dell Mini 10 in black only, with fixed configuration. The $474 will get you the Mini 10 with a 1.6GHz Atom Z530 CPU, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 10.1-inch (1024×576) LCD, and a 160GB HDD.
If this configuration sounds good to you, head over to Dell order page to get yours. The ship date is March 31st, and we will probably soon see Dell offering more customization options very soon.
Update: Dell have updated their order page, and you can now select the different color models (for an extra $30), either the Atom Z520 (1.33GHz) or the Atom Z530 (1.6GHz, add $50). Starting at $399, with a preliminary Ship Date of April 2nd.
