Dell

Dell have finally added the 720p HD LCD screen option to the Dell Mini 10! When the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 was originally announced and released, the 720p (1,366 x 768 resolution) option was always mentioned, but never made available to add when customizing the order.

Now today, for the first time, buyers can now select the “10.1-inch Widescreen Anti Glare (1366×768)” 720p HD display when ordering for a mere $35 extra.

The higher resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, instead of the standard 1024 x 576, offers more desktop space, making the whole experience a lot less “cramped”.

It’s funny how Dell have just managed to beat HP’s release of their their HD Mini 2140 netbook by five days.

There is still no word on the inbuilt GBP or TV tuner just yet, but if you have been waiting for the HD screen on the Dell Mini 10, today is your lucky day.
