Disney teamed up with Asus to create the kid friendly Disney Netpal netbook. Which we believed may have lead Dell to team up with Nickelodeon, and created the Dell Mini Nickelodeon Edition netbook.
The Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon edition netbook appears to be based on the Dell Mini 10v, but has aimed at kids and will come in three different design.
One design, as pictured, features a green slime slash on the lid and palm rest, another features Spongebob Squarepants, and the third features an iCarly themed design.
Along with the new designs, the netbook will also feature a specially tailored user interface designed by Stardock Systems, with Nickelodeon wallpapers and icons.

The Dell Nickelodeon netbook also features LoJack’s anti-theft software, education software from Whyville, and also a 15-month trial of McAffee Family Security, which allows you to monitor your kids usage.
The specifications of the Dell Mini Nickelodeon Edition haven’t been revealed, but as it’s based on the Dell Mini 10v, we expect it to have the Intel Atom N270 1.6Ghz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 10-inch LCD, and a 120GB hard drive.
Update: The Dell Nickelodeon netbook is now available from Dell for $329.
