Gateway LT32At first you would probably think the Gateway LT32 Series is a brand new 11.6-inch netbook / notebook on the market. But the Gateway LT32 is in fact just a simple re-branding of the Acer Aspire One 721.

This comes of no real surprise as we have seen Gateway do this a number of times, and especially as Gateway is owned by Acer.

The external design remains the same as the Acer, but of course with Gateway branding in its place.

Gateway LT2320u, LT2321u | LT23 Series Launched

Gateway LT2320UThis week seems to be the week that manufactures have dedicated to announcing their new netbook to the US market.

Gateway have announced their latest netbooks in the form of a refresh on the LT23 series.

Most new netbooks coming our way seem to keep the same design, but make use of the new DDR3 RAM supporting Atom N455 / N475 processors. Gateway on the other hand have updated their design, but stuck with the existing popular Atom N450 processor.

Gateway EC14D

gateway ec14dThe Gateway EC14D netbook might not be called a netbook by Gateway, as it features an internal DVD drive, but apart from this defining feature, it is a true netbook at heart.

The netbook has an 11.6-inch LCD display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution and of course the DVD SuperMulti 8x optical drive. While it is almost a defining feature of a netbook to not feature an optical drive of any sort, the Gateway EC14D breaks this trend.

Gateway LT2119u, LT2118u, LT2120u (LT21 Series)

Gateway LT21 SeriesGateway have just announced their newest range of netbooks to the world at CES. The Gateway LT2119u, LT2118u and LT2120u are all part of the new Gateway LT21 series.

All though there are three model names, each one just represents their specific color, and the hardware in each remains the same.

All three are Intel Pine Trail netbooks using the latest Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor and Intel GMA 3150 graphics.

Gateway QX2800The most popular Nvidia Ion powered nettop on the market by far is the Acer Aspire Revo. In fact, I was go as far as saying the Aspire Revo is the most popular Ion powered device currently available.

The Aspire Revo is currently only available with a single core Intel Atom CPU.

Gateway LT2000, LT2001U

gateway lt2000Gateway recently announced their first netbook, the LT3100, which was AMD powered. Today, they have announced the Gateway LT2000 netbook, which is makes use of the more common Intel Atom processor.

The Gateway LT2000 has the same external design as the LT3100, but features the popular Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz CPU, along with a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD with a 1024 x 600 resolution.

The Gateway LT3100 is going a slightly different route than most netbooks on the market. The main difference is that rather than using an Intel Atom CPU, the LT3100 features a CPU from AMD.
