The Gateway EC Series is a lightweight netbook, measuring less than 1-inch thick, and features a 13-inch LED backlit LCD, with a 16:9 widescreen ratio, which is ideal for media. The EC series also features a SSD, DDR3 RAM, optional 3G / Bluetooth, HDMI output, webcam, and capacitive hotkeys.
Designed to provide all-day performance usage on a single battery charge. The Gateway EC uses the new ultra-low voltage CPU from Intel, which reduces the amount of power needed, prolonging the battery life, without degrading the performance.
Like many new netbooks, the Gateway EC Series has a great design with a silver and black mofit and brushed aluminum palm rests.
It looks like the Gateway EC1435U (Black) and Gateway EC1805U (red) are re-branded models of the Acer Aspire 1410.
