Gateway recently announced their first netbook, the LT3100, which was AMD powered. Today, they have announced the Gateway LT2000 netbook, which is makes use of the more common Intel Atom processor.
The Gateway LT2000 has the same external design as the LT3100, but features the popular Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz CPU, along with a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD with a 1024 x 600 resolution.
The rest of the Gateway LT2000′s specifications are fairly common, with 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB hard drive (5400RPM), GMA950 graphics, webcam, stereo speakers, multi-card reader, 3x USB 2.0, a 3-cell battery, and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. The 3-cell battery, should last 3 hours. One specification lisrt was provided, other confiruations may also be available.

The Gateway LT2001U configuration is available for just $299 in NightSky Black, and the Gateway LT2021U in Cherry Red for the same price.
The LT2000 measures 10.17 (w) x 7.24 (D) x 1.03 inches (H) and weights 2.62 pounds.
