Very rarely is a netbook officially announced any more, as it is more often revealed by another means.
The upcoming HP Mini 210 netbook has been reveled by two sources, an Internet retailer which lists it as just $279, and HP’s very own support pages for the product.
Although not officially announced the HP 210 will likely be announced next week at CES.
From the two sources, we can tell you that the HP Mini 210 will feature the new 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU from the new Pineview range. It also has a 10.1-inch display, 1GB of RAM a 160GB / 250GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, chicklet keyboard, webcam, 5-in-1 card reader, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and comes with Windows 7 Starter.

You will also be able to enjoy full 1080p HD content playback on both the HP Mini 2102 and 210, with the use of the optional Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator (add on card).
Many versions of the Mini 210 are now available on Amazon, in Silver, Black and Red colors, some with either 4.25 hour, or 9.75 hours of battery life.
Update: The HP Mini 210 has been officially announced at CES, and it has already been added to the official HP store to order!
The HP Mini 210 HD Edition goes for $329, with a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 resolution, glossy. The standard HP Mini 210 starts at just $279! (with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 anti-glare display).
HP Mini 2102
Announced along side the Mini 210, was the HP Mini 2102 netbook.
It appears that the HP 2102 is essentially the exact same netbook as the HP 210, but is aimed more at the professional market, and as such is only available in a “sophisticated black design”, rather than the 210′s vast color options.
The HP Mini 2102 should be available in January this year with a price starting from $339.
Update: The HP Mini 2102 is now available for purchase for just $329 from Amazon!
