HP recently announced their 13.3-inch Pavilon DM3 laptop, but it appears that they have another new model on it’s way, with a smaller size.
The HP Pavilion DM1 is an 11.6-inch thin and light model, much more on the size of typical netbooks. The HP DM1 is expected to feature an Intel CULV (consumer ultra low voltage) Celeron Dual-Core SU2300 processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM (supports upto 5GB), Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, a 320GB / 500GB hard drive, and have an 11.6 inch LED backlit LCD with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.
The HP DM1 will feature a 92% full sized keyboard, webcam, 5-in-1 card reader, 3x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a battery which should provides 9 hours of use.
The HP Pavilion DM1 looks very similar, if not identical to the HP Mini 311 on the outside, and weighs 1.36KG. Via Notebookitalia.
Update: You can pre-order the HP DM1 form Amazon UK for £469.99 with Windows 7 Home Premium. It will be released on November 23rd! And in the US from Amazon for$449.
