The HP Mini 1103 is HP’s cheapest business mini, and is aimed at professionals who are looking for a stylish and lightweight computer to bring on the go.
Claimed as an ideal travel companion, the HP 1103 has a 10.1-inch LED backlit WSVGA display, and features a stylish black design, with a 93% full sized keyboard. Connectivity wise the Mini 1103 features 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and optional integrated HP mobile broadband.
It also comes with HP QuickSync which lets you easily synchronizes important data between other devices and HP QuickWeb enables access to the web in just seconds, even from when the computer is turned off.
It’s powered by either the Intel Atom N455 or N475 processor, and comes with a choice of either a 3-cell or 6-cell (55 WHr) battery. HP say that the 6-cell options enables all-day computing. It also features 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 7200 rpm hard drive up to 320 GB.
I’m all for business / smart looking netbooks and with a starting price of just $299, I’m sure the HP Mini 1103 will be very popular with business users and home users in general. The Mini 1103 is expected to be available this December.
