Only a short few days ago we wrote about the very impressive looking HP Mini 1000 netbook, and now HP under the Compaq name have announced the HP Compaq Mini 700 netbook, which looks equally as impressive.
With a very similar design and near identical specifications as the Mini 1000, the HP Mini 700 is even more temping as it’s currently labeled as £100 less than the 1000, for just £299. Featuring a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 10.2-inch LCD screen with 1,024 x 600 (16:10 aspect ratio) resolution, 8GB / 16GB SSD storage, Bluetooth, Wireless, 92% full sizes keyboard, and weighing just 1.1Kg and 22.55mm thin.

The HP Compaq Mini 700 also comes with optional HSDPA data radio, for broadband speed wireless Internet on the go.
Available mid December in the UK for just £299, the Mini 700 sure does seem tempting!
