The very impressive new HP Pavilion DM1z series ultraportable notebook has just gone on sale on the official HP estore.
The 11.6-inch ultraportable HP DM1Z series can now be ordered and customized at the official HP store, with prices starting at just $449.99.
The dm1z is a new variation of the popular dm1 model with AMD Vision technology. It is certainly no slouch, and can be configured with up to a massive 5GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, or 128GB SSD.
The battery life is also very impressive at 7 hours, especially when you take into consideration the power of the DM1Z. It’s powered by AMD’s Athlon II Neo processors, with choices ranging from the 1.3GHz K325 to the 1.7 K125 processors. ATI Mobility Readeon HD 4225 graphics power the 11.6-inch HD display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution.

Other features include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, HDMI output (and VGA out), 3x USB 2.0, optional mobile broadband, Ethernet, 5-in-1 multicard reader, webcam, along with optional Bluetooth and external optical drive.
